Shear is built in the open. If you would like to help fund development, servers and audits, you can send a donation to any address below. Thank you.

These addresses were read from Russell Sneddon's own Ledger Nano X and confirmed on the device. Always check the address you paste matches the one shown here. There is no Shear (SHE) address until mainnet.

Donation addresses

Copy an address, scan its QR code, or connect your own Ledger in the coin's box and send from it. You confirm the amount and our address on your Ledger screen before anything is signed.

Privacy

  • This page sends nothing anywhere unless you use connect-and-send. There are no analytics, no trackers and no external fonts.
  • QR codes are drawn in your browser by a bundled copy of qrcode-generator 1.4.4. Copying an address uses your browser's clipboard only.
  • Connect-and-send: only after you click Connect does the page load its bundled Ledger library (from this site) and talk to your Ledger over USB (WebHID) or Bluetooth. To build and send the transaction it then calls the public RPC for the network you pick, run by PublicNode (Allnodes): ethereum-rpc.publicnode.com, base-rpc.publicnode.com, arbitrum-one-rpc.publicnode.com, polygon-bor-rpc.publicnode.com or solana-rpc.publicnode.com. That provider sees your IP address, your Ledger account address and the transaction. Nothing else is contacted, and the site's security policy blocks any other host.
  • The page loads its style, logo and navigation bar from shear.digital, our own site. Our web server keeps standard access logs, as described in the privacy policy.
